The meetings feature guest speakers and promote conservation and natural gardening practices. Membership has its benefits and aids the community in many ways.
- Monthly e-newsletter and website: Catch up on the latest Malibu Garden Club news, garden tips and special garden events in the Southern California area. Stay informed.
- Monthly meetings in the beautiful Point Dume Club Clubhouse: A delicious Continental breakfast is served with Starbucks coffee, orange juice and fresh baked pastries. An engaging speaker will fascinate you with his or her area of expertise in gardening. Unique plants, flowers or flower arrangements are raffled off. Be a winner. Take home a beautiful plant.
- Enjoy the friendship and fellowship of other gardeners in the community: You will meet other people who have similar gardening interests and passions. Learn what they planted or solved a landscaping problem.
- Field trips and tours to private and public gardens: The Club has arranged special guided tours to the best gardens and farms in the area with lunch and refreshments at nearby resturants.
- Education programs: Exchange of information on everything from native plants to orchids
