More than 100 exhibition-style chrysanthemums in a range of shapes and colors are on view when the National Chrysanthemum Society presents its 2019 show and sale. Native to Asia, chrysanthemums have deep cultural connections to China and Japan, where the flowers are revered. Their dazzling colors and forms have made them autumn favorites around the world. In addition to the juried show, vendors will have a wide selection of plants available for sale. Saturday’s event begins at 1 p.m. following morning judging.
