You may have thought blueberries only grew in Oregon, Maine or Chile. Think again! Fresh, tasty, luscious blueberries full of antioxidants are growing only 45 minutes away in Camarillo. Situated on top of a hill overlooking a valley of lemon and avocado trees, is a 10-acre plot with blueberry plants growing in 8-gallon pots arranged in neat elevated rows, convenient for waist-high picking. Picking buckets are provided.

After picking blueberries, which are reasonably priced, we will proceed to eat lunch (dutch treat) at Camarillo’s Factory Outlets restaurant Latitude 34. The lunches are about $20. Go to L34camarillo.com to see their menu’ and location.
